The Power Of Google Reviews

Online reviews, positive or negative have huge impact on businesses. Most Marketing Land. You need to a have a strategy to get reviews and you need to respond to all of them good or bad

people/customers trust these reviews and take them into consideration when seeking a new service. Even if you have the perfect service, shop and/or website you can be missing the boat without reviews. Customers these days can check out your business with a few simple clicks and it is rarely limited to your own website. 90% of customers say that purchase decisions are influenced by online reviews -

How do I get reviews?

It seems too obvious, you ask for them! Throughout the sales process let your customers know that their feedback is appreciated. Always remind them to review you at the end of the purchase. If you use email marketing a post purchase email requesting a review is highly effective. Put up a sign to review us at your business location. Don’t give incentives for reviews, especially google. For example, Free Tshirt with Positive Google Review. For one thing, it's cheating. Google frowns upon reviews like this and they will penalize this. Google see's everything.

Get a bad review?

First off, you need to respond to the review and always be positive. Don't respond right away, cool down and think about what you are going to say. The world will see your response so you don't want a regretful post. Thank them for their feedback no matter what even if they are just salty. Sometimes the negative feedback can help you fix kinks in the chain and improve the future. Drown it out, get as many good reviews as you can. People aren't just going to read one back review, they look at the whole pie.

Get a good review?

Show it off! Put it on your website in a reviews section, display it in your store use it as a testimonial. When managed well, reviews can seriously improve your business. The bad ones can give you ideas for improvement and the good ones put a smile on your face.

Less Is More

I have always beleived with marketing and advertising that less is more. These days, that couldn't be more true.  The tried and true methods are usually a good choice. I don't mean less work means a better payoff.  I mean quality is a whole lot better than quantity.
With print or digital advertising this is especially the case.  Too much content and information can be a distraction.  Make it simple, large font with a picture/colors that are pleasing to the eyes.  People can be just like bulls, they charge to red.  Stick to the basics: your website, main message, address and phone number.  Beyond that can be distracting.
Less is more but it can also hurt you. The message must be concise and effective. It’s not enough just to purchase a billboard or sign and put your name on it, you have to be creative. You must make future customers think enough to give you a phone call or look at the website.  When the type is too busy and it gets small.
So stick to the basics, be creative and get remembered!
